Even though Shropshire is England's largest inland county, it still appears small and friendly, with one foot still set in bygone days. Couples getting married in Shropshire have a vast array of fantastic places and venues to choose from. From Shropshire's lakeland, formed from ice age glaciers, follow the river Severn to the county town of Shrewsbury, then stop a while and marvel and the engineering that produced the world' first Iron bridge, before moving on to admire the half timbered buildings of Ludlow, culminating with the glorious Shropshire hills and majestic Long Mynd in the south.

Your wedding in the West Midlands

Rich in coal and iron ore, the region grew rapidly during the industrial revolution to become one of the powerhouses manufacturing for the British Empire. Whilst many identify the West Midlands with Britain's industrial past, the area still retains much of it's rural character with 23 SSSI's within the county. One of these, is Sutton Park, in Sutton Coldfield, which is one of the largest urban parks in Europe! Between Birmingham and Coventry, the Meridan Gap is an area of green belt that stretches 15 miles across, whilst North of Birmingham,  can be found Barr Beacon and The Sandwell Valley.
